He is survived by: his wife Joyce Newton Lawson of Cox's Creek; his children, Ginny Lawson of Shepherdsville and Brandon Lawson of Cox's Creek; his mother Nellie Adams Lawson of Springfield; his grandchildren, Justin Stinson, Logan Wise, Kamryn Lawson, Spencer Lawson, Jamie Stinson, Ashley Stinson and Nikki Dillander; his great grandchild Colson Stinson; and his siblings, Barney Lawson (Lisa) of Louisville, David Lawson (Karen) of Louisville, Billy Lawson (Linda) of Indiana, Sandy Calhoun (Raymond) of Mt. Washington, Pat Self (Troy) of Shepherdsville and Joyce Ann Arms of Louisville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
