She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Dudley and Mary Tutt Hogan; her husband James D. Mackin; her daughter Ann Ewing; her sisters, Gladys Cotton, Reba Hayden and Virginia Brandenburg; and her grandson Brian Ewing.

She is survived by: her daughter Mary Cecilia Greenwell (Joseph) of Bardstown; her grandchildren, Joey, Jeannie Greenwell, Jessica Hicks (David) and Stephen Ewing (Jeanine); and her great grandchildren, Marissa, Gracie, Carson, Tristan, Parker and Amira.
