He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Edward Lewis Smith and Mary Eva Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Alyssa Martin (Robert); his brother Ted Smith (Renate); his grandchildren, Taylor Martin, Calla Martin, Robert Martin and Owen Martin; his niece Inge Smith Terrill; and his nephew Steve M. Smith.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Connley Brothers Funeral Home (11 E Southern Ave, Covington, KY 41015). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
