Randy Joe Perkins Obituary
With a heavy heart, I share the heartbreaking news of my father's passing. Randy Joe Perkins left this world on February 18, 2025, while resting peacefully on his couch at around 5:30 PM EST.
Randy wasn't just a grandfather, a father, a spouse, a brother, a friend, or a neighbor—he was so much more. His heart had no limits, and his kindness had no conditions. If you spent even a moment around him, you knew exactly what kind of person he was. I was beyond proud to call him my father. He never hesitated to help carry the weight of the world for others, even when his own burdens were heavy.
Born on June 27, 1960, Randy had a giving heart from an early age. He dedicated much of his life to helping others, volunteering as an EMT with the Walton-Verona Fire Department. For him, service wasn't just a duty—it was a calling.
He never hesitated to lend a hand to anyone in need, whether they were family, friends, or complete strangers. He was the kind of person this world needs more of, and losing him far too soon is a pain that words can't fully express. To say he will be missed doesn't even begin to cover it. There will never be another Randy Joe Perkins. He wasn't just a father, grandfather, or brother—he was a beacon of kindness and love, a true one-of-a-kind soul.
His memory will live on through the family who loved him dearly: his partner and longtime love, Juanita Fletcher; his stepmother, Ada Perkins; his four sisters, Jean Collins, Connie Napier, Donna Perkins, and Susan Ault; his stepsister, Yuvonne; and his stepbrother, Doug. He also leaves behind his son, Randall Perkins; his stepchildren, George (Andrea) Daniels and Nicole (Joe Hellard) Daniels; and his six cherished grandchildren. Each of them carries a part of his heart, ensuring that his legacy of love and kindness continues.
No matter where life takes us, his memory will stay alive within us. His spirit will always be watching over us, doing his very best to guide and protect us. God took him too soon—there was still so much love and wisdom he had left to share. The best way we can honor him is by keeping his memory alive and spreading love and compassion in his name.
