She was predeceased by: her parents, Sterling Smithers and Marie Buck Smithers; her brother Robert Sterling Smithers II; her nephew Jody Smithers; and her pet Scooter.
She is survived by: her siblings, Judy Smithers of Covington and David Smithers of Hustonville; and her nieces, Melissa Brown (Chris) of Liberty and Deborah Kimery (David) of Marietta, Georgia.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the McKinney-Brown Funeral Home (752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY 42539). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
