He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry and Eleanor; his wife Barbara; and his siblings, Robert, Betty, Dorothy, Eleanor, Harry Jr. and James.

He is survived by: his stepdaughter Tracy Mairose (Tom). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“Everyone at the Lloyd Area Skeet Club in Crittenden will miss John. He was fun to be around and did not hesitate to offer help to anyone that asked. He was more than a member; he was a volunteer at the Club. For example, all the gun racks on the front porch were designed and built by John. Yes, we will miss John but know he is now in a wonderful place. Tom Davis”

“My condolences to John's family. While I only knew him for a few years, I always enjoyed shooting skeet with him at the Lloyd Area Skeet Club. John had a great sense of humor and enjoyed a good joke. He appreciated a well made shotgun and hated his Nissan. Most important, John loved and appreciated his family who provided him with loving care in his final weeks. He always made a point of acknowledging you.
