JoAnn Ellert Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of JoAnn Ellert (Covington, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank J. Ellert Jr.; and her siblings, Tom Rielage and Gail Rom. She is survived by: her children, Frank Ellert (Mary), Kathy Schmitt (Doug) and Terri Roenker (Don); her grandchildren, Frank, Jack Ellert, Matthew, Mya Schmitt, Amy Roenker Jellison (Kyle), Andy (Holly), Tom (Emily), Ben (Madeline) and George Roenker (Claire); her great grandchildren, Ava, Lilly, AJ, Everly JoAnn, Callan, Tripp, Tate and Peter Roenker; and her siblings, Nancy Klusman and Robert Rielage.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Church (3612 Church St, Covington, KY 41015).
If desired, donations may be directed to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and St. Rita's School for the Deaf. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to a charity of your choice.
