He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Pelgen and Thelma Pelgen (Wallingford); and his siblings, Gary Pelgen (Annie) and Barbara Perry (Bob). He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Gay Pelgen (Beazley); his brother Dennis Pelgen (Earlene); and his children, Cheryl Lynn Withrow (Jay), Candy Lynn Houston, Rhonda Jamie Guidugli (Paul), James Robert Pelgen Jr. (Betty) and David Allen Pelgen. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the St. Joseph Church (4011 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
