Though Donald may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Hoene (Thornton) and Cyril Von Hoene; his wife Kathy Von Hoene (Kohlbrand); and his sister Joan Von Hoene. He is survived by: his son Ted (Kelly); his grandchildren, Jack and Kate; and his brothers, Rick (Sue) and Greg (Vicki). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mother of God Church East 6th (119 W 6th St, Covington, KY 41011). A Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at the St Mary's Cemetery (2201 Dixie Hwy, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017).
