She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mercer and Kathryn Mercer; and her husband Bernard "Buck" Bilz. She is survived by: her children, Laurie Bilz Dowell, Joe Bilz (Sue), Becky Motley (Tony) and Chris Bilz; and her brothers, Butch Mercer, Tom Mercer, Doug Mercer (Nancy), Dave Mercer and Steve Mercer. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
