She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Stricker and Stella Setters Stricker; and her brother Bill Striker. She is survived by: her husband Virgil Hurst; her daughters, Kimberly Freed, Vicki Bishop (Rick) and Davina Leedy (Eric); and her brother Gene Stricker. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peoples Funeral Home (8340 US Hwy 27, Butler, KY 41006). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Peoples Funeral Home-Butler (8340 US Hwy 27, Butler, KY 41006).
