He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Cornett and Peggy Cornett; his brother Ronnie Cornett; his brothers-in-law, David Short and Ronnie Combs; and his nephew Joey Patrick Callahan.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay; his sons, Barry Neal of Arizona and David Alan of Florida; and his siblings, John (Hilda), Olivia Callahan (Joe), Marsha Bishop (Richard) and Mary Kay Roark (Michael).
