She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Smith and Lovell Brown; her husband David M. Mitchell; her sons, Michael, Gregory, Jeffrey, Timothy and John Mitchell; and her siblings, Charles Ed, Billy Ray, Jerry Lee and Nella Faye Caudill.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Adams, Sally Ogden (Ronnie), Gary Mitchell (Denise), Mark Mitchell, Jody Mitchell, Jamie Mitchell (Kathy) and Kevin Mitchell (Kimberly); and her siblings, Gary Smith, Don Smith, Butch Williams, Janet Imes, Linda Coyle, Dorothy Trackwell, Nina Mae Caudill, Sharon White and Jean Tritle. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family & friends.
