With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Lewis (Cornettsville, Kentucky), who passed away on November 29, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Lewis and Mary Belle Mullins Lewis; his wife Dorthy Lewis; his siblings, Herbert Lewis, Juanita Harris and Eunice Browning; and his son-in-law Dennis W. Cornett.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Lewis (Kathleen) of Slemp, KY, Maxine Lewis (David) of Gilley, KY and Jeraldine Cornett of Gilley, KY; his grandchildren, Kim Miller (Jamie), Eddie Cornett, Shannon Garland (Chris), Mark Lewis (Christina), Greg Lewis and David Dwight Lewis (Crystal); his great grandchildren, Nicole Bennett (Justin), Candi Miller (Josh), Regan Miller, Ezra Cornett, Gage Cornett and Kaydee Lewis; his great great grandchildren, Macey, Savannah, Keagan and Elijah Bennett; his siblings, Christine Sizemore, Celinda Cornett, Charlene Ison, Betty Thompson, Jerry Lewis and Terry Lewis; and his close friend Russell Fouts. He is also survived by relatives; as well as many friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ (169 Puncheon Camp Road, Cornettsville, KY.). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
