He was predeceased by: his mothers, Manon Callahan and Lizzie Ison Callahan; his wife Doris Newsome Callahan; his siblings, Bud, Homer Callahan and Edna Brashear; his daughter-in-law Tonya Callahan; his grandson Torrance Callahan; and his great grandchild Jon Aaron Callahan.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Creech (Jack) of Slemp, KY, Tony Callahan of Cornettsville, KY and Mike Callahan of Cornettsville, KY; his close friend Robert Amburgey; and his grandchildren, Shaun Creech, Nick Callahan, Brandon Callahan, Blake Callahan, Jaclyn Lewis and Andie Callahan.
