She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Gilbert and Hazel Gilbert; her siblings, Jimmy Gilbert (Sharon), Lawrence Gilbert, Minnie Trice, Frances Begley (James), Geraldine Barton (Paul), Mary Hembree and Henry McVay; her grandson Elijah Drummonds; the father of her children Paris Drummonds Jr.; her daughter-in-law Karen Reece; and her nephew Michael Gilbert.
She is survived by: her family, Winston Reece, Theresa VanNorstran (Ron), Paris Drummonds (Melissa), Edward Drummonds (Angie), Charles Reece (Carla), Tim Reece, Sherry Crawford (Ronnie), Will Reece (Sheila), Charles Gilbert and Dolly McVay; her grandchildren, Matthew (Paula), Savanna (Brandon), Mikey, Trevor (Krysta), Braxton, Caitlyn (Kade), Brandon, Logan and Luke; and her great grandchildren, Levi, Rowyn, Addison, Colt, Rhett and Apollo.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home (607 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cumberland Memorial Gardens South U. S. (5970 US-25, Corbin, KY 40701).
