He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cole and Lorene Warren Cole; his grandchildren, William Paul Williams and Amber Lynnette Cole; and his brothers, Ronnie Cole and Jimmy Cole.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Cole of Rogers Road; his daughters, Tina Lynn Cole-Shumate (Joe) of Corbin, Kentucky. and Kimberly Anne Cole-Wilson (Stanley) of Corbin, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Megan Gambrel (Bob) of Corbin, Kentucky., Matthew Lickliter (Jessica) of Corbin, Kentucky., Steven Garrett-Cole of Corbin, Kentucky. and Danielle Robinson (Shylow) of Corbin, Kentucky.; his siblings, George Wayne Cole (Kathy) of Liberty and Della Anne Rains (Charles) of Corbin, Kentucky.; and his close friends, Don Reedy of Gray and Harold Barton of Woodbine, Kentucky..
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the South Park United Baptist Church (102 22nd St, Corbin, KY 40701).
In lieu of flowers the family has respectfully requested that memorial contributions be made to the Christmas Box Program of South Park United Baptist Church, 102 22nd Street, Corbin, Kentucky 40701.
