As Shirley Ann departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Shirley Ann. Though Shirley Ann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Hicks and Lida Bingham Hicks; and her brother-in-law Ronnie Paul. She is survived by: her siblings, Harold Hicks (Linda), Costello Hicks, Betty Gray (Theron), Leona Paul, Brenda Cox, Clyde Hicks (Debbie), Opal Garrison, Arlene Young (Jimmy) and Shanna Kirk. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hicks Cemetery (580 Salt Lick Rd, Corbin, KY 40701). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
