He was predeceased by: his parents, James Douglas Lee and Angeline Morgan Lee; his wife Verna Lee; his daughter Jeanette Stopher; and his siblings, Douglas Lee, Anna Faye Brock and Larry Lee.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Melton (Tim) and Sharlene Lee; his grandchildren, Samantha Shepherd (Stacey), Jessica Jones, Caleb Melton (Ashley), Gabriel Melton (Arielle), Kelsey Smith, Amanda Mitchell and Rylee Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Jackson, Sadie, Solomon, Elias, Grayson, Allison, Walker, Brantlee, Kaylee, Abigail and Avery; and his siblings, Peggy Lee, Patsy Rose and Mike Lee (Susie). He is also survived by family, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the East Side Church of God (10078 US-25, Corbin, KY 40701). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
