He is survived by: his daughters, Joni Farmer (Todd) and Kristi Botner (Jody); his grandsons, Blake Botner, Quinton Botner and Clay Botner; his sisters, Brenda Tye and Cheryl Ellis; and his siblings-in-law, Mitzi Reeves (Willard), Don Byrd (Lisa), Debbie Prewitt (late Robert Prewitt) and Ann Longworth (Gina Valentine). He is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home (607 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:15 PM at the Cumberland Memorial Gardens (5970 US-25, Corbin, KY 40701).
