She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Smith and Annie Lee Smith; her husband J. W. Bowlin; her children, Myra Lynn Barton and James Brian Bowlin; and her sisters, Betty Ruth Baker, Reba Asher and Ethel Terrell.
She is survived by: her sister Jean Pickard of Corbin; her brother-in-law Jerry Terrell of Somerset; and her grandchildren, C. Brent Barton (Ashley), Rebecca Kraftick, Lori Barton and Brian Bowlin. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
