It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Allan Tompkins of Corbin, Kentucky, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Tompkins and Margaret Tompkins Crook; and his son Gregory Allan Tompkins. He is survived by: his wife Luane Tompkins; his sons, Michael J. Tompkins (Ginger) of Fort Myers, FL and Christopher S. Tompkins (Amber) of Corbin; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Tompkins of Louisville, KY, Austin Tompkins of Tampa, FL and Haley VanAtter (Connor) of Brooksville, FL; his great grandchild Everett Creed Shafer of Shelbyville, KY; his sister Linda S. Rowlett of Corbin; and his grandchildren, Adelyn, Polly and Atticus Adams of Corbin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Association.
