It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Jane Parson (Corbin, Kentucky), born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on October 3, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Parsons and Mae Blair Parson (Blair); and her sisters, Susan Dubois and Mary Newman. She is survived by: her sisters, Janet Parsons of Corbin, KY and Bertha Parsons of Wisconsin; her brother-in-law Roger Dubois; her nieces, Patty Collins of Corbin, KY. and Becky Barkley (Jason) of Georgetown, KY; her grandchildren, Reba Smith, Kati Baker (Benjamin) and Emily Baker (Dakota); and her great grandchildren, Piper Cureton, Caspian Baker, Daseyn Lambert, Aierlyn Lambert, Baby Baker, Albus Baker, Madalyn Baker, Rylie Baker, Mikayla Damron and Jaeden Damron.
