She was predeceased by: her father J. B. Stanley; her son Cain Shipman; her grandparents, Will McKinley Rains, Nancy Elizabeth Sikes Rains, Bill Stanley and Catherine Ray Stanley Keck; her sister Crystal Gayle Stanely; her stepfather Jessie V. Morgan; and her stepsister April Morgan.
She is survived by: her mother Esther Morgan; her husband James Shipman; her children, Thomas Stanley (Samantha), James Shipman, Takota Shipman (Christina) and Jovanna Shipman Vanover (Patrick); her siblings, Larry Stanley (Suggi), Lisa Stanley Ragen, Billy Stanley, Sondra Stanley, Keith Stanley (Christy), Richard Stanley, Jay Farnstrom, Jonathan Stanley and Susan Farnstrom Helton; and her stepsisters, Debbie Morgan and Bonnie Morgan Powell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home (607 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Alsip Cemetery.
