He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Patterson and Florance Patterson; and his siblings, David Patterson, Luther Patterson, Billy Patterson, Reesa Patterson and Delora Patterson.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia Patterson; his daughters, Pamela Stewart, Loretta Smith and Joanna Renie; and his siblings, James Patterson (Roena), Buster Patterson (Brenda), Druscilla Lemmer and Carolyn Robinson (Everett). He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
