John J. Baylor Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John J. Baylor of Corbin, Kentucky, who passed away on January 7, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Baylor and Nora Baylor; the mother of his children Hilda Fowler Baylor; his wife Etta Faye Shepherd Baylor; and his siblings, Alemta Ponder, Robert Baylor, Riley "Red" Baylor and Radford Baylor.
He is survived by: his sons, Chris Baylor (Jane) and Brian Baylor (Sheila); his grandchildren, Abby Baylor, Samantha Baylor, Evan Baylor, Charles Baylor, Allison Baylor, Hannah Baylor, Holly Baylor, Chase Baylor and Angela Palaganas; his great grandchild Camden Baylor; and his sister Gladys House. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hart Funeral Home (1011 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at the West Memorial Park Cemetery.
