He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeremy Godsey and Eva Godsey; his wife Shelah Godsey; his children, Debra Grega, Renee Hickey and Jimmy Wayne Godsey of Mobile, Alabama; his grandchildren, Barry Hickey, Sean Grega and Madison Nose; and his siblings, Roy, Clifford, Buddy, Stanley, Edward, Kenneth, Ova, Otis, Orville, Everett, Hazel, Lois and Lonnie.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Tuttle (Claude) of Big Clifty, Kentucky, Linda Long (Greg) of Corbin, Kentucky and Aaron Godsey (Abby) of Mobile, Alabama; his grandchildren, Mike Tuttle (Erin), Brian Tuttle, Donna Topf, Joey Hickey (Samantha), Jamey Hickey, Tiffany Grega, Sara Hamlin (Josh), Kylie Lewis (Greg), Victoria Herron (Derick), Chris Smith (Whitney), Jesslyn Kelsey (Jordan), Rachel Long, Savannah Godsey, Haley Owens and Debra Sue McVey; his sister Ruby Reeves of Florence; and his niece Jeannie Griess. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
