He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Bailey and Blanche Bailey; his grandson Auston Teater; and his siblings, Burl Bailey, Sam Bailey and Verna Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Olive Bailey; his children, Jerilynn Bailey (Jim), Glenn Bailey (Kathy), Bill Bailey (Dee) and Pam Teater (Geoff); and his grandchildren, Randi, Ryan, Alex, Andrew, Jacob, Sean and Missy. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home (607 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cumberland Memorial Gardens South U. S. (5970 US-25, Corbin, KY 40701).
