She was predeceased by: her son Michael Cathers; her husbands, Donald W. Cathers and Gene Morgan; her parents, Ernest Lay and Nola Taylor Lay; and her siblings, Ernie Lee Lay, Ralph Lay and Arlene Pfaff.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Christina Ashley Riehemann (Luke) and Matthew Cathers (Danielle); her sisters, Retha Orrick (Paul), Donna Jones and Connie Lay; and her close friend Linda Sparks.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Corbin Church of the Nazarene (409 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
