He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lanham and Argene Lanham; and his brothers, Simon Ray and Arvil Leonard. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lanham; his children, Trish, Megan, Jimmy, David, Brandon and John; his grandchildren, Brent, Sarah, Brooklyn, Ariahnna, Florence, Alyssa, Abigail, EllaRose, Luke, Wesley and Viola; his great grandchildren, Boone, Gunner, Desmond and Mamie; and his siblings, Howard, Teresa, Lenora, Doreen, Maggie and Amanda.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Croley Funeral Home (103 S 2nd St, Williamsburg, KY 40769). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ulas Rose Family Cemetery (42 Middle Ridge Church Rd, Corbin, KY 40701).
