He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzie Rainey Sr. and Oda Widner Rainey; his nephew Charles Collins; his niece Candice Noe; and his brother-in-law Bill Carroll.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dwight David Rainey, Donna Gay Carroll and Tina Noe; his nieces, Ashley Eversole, Bethany Noe and Charlotte Osborne; his great-nieces, Molly Eversole and Ivy Rose Osborne; his great-nephew Benjamin Eversole; and his close friend Gleason Eaton.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home (204 N Kentucky St, Corbin, KY 40701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lawson Funeral Home Chapel (204 N Kentucky St, Corbin, KY 40701).
