He is survived by: his children, Earl Howard Sowders, Jr. (Jill) of Georgetown, David Blaine Sowders (Melissa) of Knoxville, Sharon Diane Sproule of Corbin, Davina Rachelle North (John) of Corbin and Brittany Marie Bogle of Barbourville, Kentucky.; and his grandchildren, Michelle Eggen (Chris) of Louisville, Paul Jason Helton (Amanda) of Corbin, Julian North of Corbin, Noelle Smith (Jack) of Knoxville and David C. Sowders of Knoxville.
