He is survived by: his wife Phyllis McKeehan Lay of Corbin, KY; his children, Paige Ashcraft (Matt) of Corbin, KY and Derrick Lay of Corbin, KY; his granddaughter Alexandra Ashcraft of Corbin, KY; and his sister Rebecca Steely of Williamsburg, KY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
