Charles Andrew Thaler Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2025, at the age of 60, Charles Andrew Thaler of Corbin, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Charles Ancil Thaler; his grandparents, Andrew Frank Thaler, Danna Rosetta Thaler, Walter Marion Hawkins and Etta Belle Hawkins; his father-in-law James Howard Mintz; his brother-in-law James Curtis Mintz; and his father-in-law Milton Ferrell Smith.

He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Jean Hawkins Thaler; his wife Connie Lorraine Mintz Thaler; his sons, Andrew James Thaler and Charles Ryan Thaler (Sarah Reamy); his sister Verna Jean Thaler Kline (Randy); his mother-in-law Dorothy Joyce Morris Smith; his siblings-in-law, Laurie Deanne Mintz Null (Jamie) and Ronnie Wayne Mintz (Denise); and his nieces and nephews, Monica Grant, Candace Owens (Cody), Amber Geddins (Justin), Jamie Bunch (Aron), Lindsey Frazier (Chad), Dalton Grant, Jonathan Gabriel Mintz, James Nathaniel Mintz, Jason Kline and Brian Kline (Melanie). He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews; great-great nieces, great-great nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Hart Funeral Home (1011 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701). A rosary will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 7:30 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (703 Master St, Corbin, KY 40701). A burial will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at the Pine Hill Cemetery.
