She was predeceased by: her parents, Speed Barton and Lottie Jean Higginbotham Barton; her husband Herman Eugene Lawson; and her brothers, William Eddie Barton and Woodrow Barton.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Lee Lawson and Richard Sim Lawson; her sister Irene Engle (Frank); her grandsons, Treinty Herman Lee Lawson, Bryce James Eugene Lawson and Aiden Richard Lawson; and her close friend Jerry Morgan. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
