He was predeceased by: his parents, Cheslie Ellison and Virginia Martin Ellison; his siblings, Virgil Ellison (Joyce), Bill Ellison (Theresa) and Shirley Ellison Cole; and his pet Briley.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Ellison; his daughters, Carla Ellison Joseph (Travis) of London, Hope Ellison Rogers (Shawn) of Corbin and Ashlee Stewart (Derek) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Jacob Unthank, Cheslee Joseph, Carson Rogers, Carissa Rogers and Skyler Stewart; his friends, Roger Caldwell and Richard Cox; and his pet Jo-Jo. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and church family members.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Helping Hands Food Pantry Ministry at Dorthae Pentecostal Church.
