He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Lickliter and Elizabeth Eversole Lickliter; his grandchildren, Lane Lickliter, Brett Lickliter and William Williams; and his brother Herman Lickliter.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Simpson (Ken), Teresa Gregory (Steve), Carl Lickliter Jr. (Melinda), Robbie Lickliter (Becky) and David Lickliter (Lisa); his grandchildren, Kenneth Simpson (Tori), Cameron Simpson (Tina), Sarah Elliott (Jeremy), Megan Gambrel (Robert), Matthew Lickliter (Jessica), Whitley Pleasant (Shawn), Harper Lickliter, Chelsey Lickliter, Rebekah Lickliter, Shelby Lickliter and Chloe Lickliter; his great grandchildren, Sawyers Simpson, Denver Williams, Liam Lickliter, Makenna Williams, Jonah Lickliter and Bryer Pleasant; and his sister Sharon Ohler.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church (3574 Ky 3436, Corbin, KY 40701).
