He is survived by: his parent Mintie Mitchell; his daughter Sandra Kay Mitchell Bayles; his half-sisters, Loreen Whitman, Alice Holcomb, Jack Mitchell, Billy Joe Mitchell, Willard Mitchell, Robert Mitchell, Fern West, Phyllis Gross, Juanita Brown, Kila Viox, Jim Mitchell, Steve Mitchell Jr and John L. Mitchell; and also Tom Jones. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
