With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ross Swaney of Columbus, Kentucky, born in Joliet, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 25, 2024 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon L. Swaney and Marion Pelton Swaney; his wife Mary Nell "Mack" Swaney; and his siblings, Geroldine Swaney, Gordon Swaney and Arnold Swaney.
He is survived by: his children, Gina Kramer (Bruce) of Stering, Tina Black (Larry) of Petersburg, Florida and William Swaney of Ridge Field, Connecticut; his stepchildren, Marsha Lynn Wilkening of Aurora, Ellen Louise Bullard of Bardwell, Paul Allen Kringle of Columbus and D'Wayne Bullard (Rebecca) of Oxford, Mississippi; and his siblings, Joyce Hagerty of Columbus, Rose Hagerty of Kingman, Arizona and Johnny Swaney. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
