It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Matthews of Columbia, Kentucky, born in Franklin, Indiana, who passed away on May 5, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Burton and Mildred Burton; her husband David Matthews; and her stepsister Melissa Burton. She is survived by: her sons, Christopher David Matthews (Samantha) of Columbia, KY and Clinton Matthews (Dawn) of Georgetown, KY; her grandchildren, Trevor Matthews (Jacey) and Hunter Matthews; her great grandchild Josie Matthews; her siblings, Donnie Burton (Mary) of Franklin, IN, Troy Burton (Paula) of Princes Lakes, IN, Arcena Burton (Larry) of Franklin, IN, Devela Lawson (Jackie) of Princes Lakes, IN and Tina Julbert (Jonathan) of Franklin, IN; and her stepsiblings, Stanley, Jeff Curry of Indiana and Jackie Crawhorn of Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
