He was predeceased by: his parents, Durella Turner York and Ernest York; and his siblings, Verlman York and Arietta York. He is survived by: his wife Helen Claycomb York of Columbia, KY.; his children, Rhonda Holt (Dane) of Clovis, NM, Laverne Blair (Steve) of Columbia, KY. and Douglas York (Jacquelyn) of Columbia, KY.; his sister Mazelle Binnette of Ocala, FL.; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Burton, Kristina Holt, Amanda Holt and Dillon York.
