He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett VanArsdale and Floy Burris VanArsdale; and his siblings, Paul VanArsdale, Rena Carter, Lou Keltner, Judy Miller and Donna Bivens.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Corbin VanArsdale of Columbia; his daughter Lesa; his son-in-law Bobby Withers of Columbia; his sons, Daryl (Trudy VanArsdale), Alan (Beth VanArsdale) and Kevin (Kesha VanArsdale); his sister Doris of Creelsboro; and his brothers-in-law, Sonny Miller of Creelsboro and Kenneth Russell Miller of Creelsboro. He is also survived by Eleven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and expecting two great-great grandchildren.
