Shirley Burton Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Burton of Columbia, Kentucky, who passed away on February 28, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ealie Burton and Bonnie Burton; her close friends, James Stotts, Elmo and Leon Burton; her sister Rosie Mary Burton; and her great grandchildren, Eddie Lee Trent and Hummingbird Cundiff.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy Burton of Columbia, Allan Trent (Missy) of Columbia, Bonnie Trent (Robert Cull) of Columbia and Bobbie Sue Byerly (Clayton) of Kingman, IN; her stepdaughter Darla Stotts (Jan); and her siblings, Hulis Burton (Valerie), Leamon Burton, Jerry Burton (Eloise), Jody Burton, Robert Burton (Pat), Edgar Burton (Christina), Nella Lamb and Brenda Deal (David). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
