He is survived by: his children, Debbie Atkins (Mark) of Columbia, KY, Darrell Pelston of Columbia, KY and Stevie Pelston (Beth Ann) of Columbia, KY; his stepdaughters, Angela Shuffett of Campbellsville, KY and Cindy Corbin of Campbellsville, KY; his grandchildren, Crystal Tucker, Matt Pelston (Leslie), Dustin Pelston (Abby), Tyler Pelston, Aiden Pelston, Jessica Hedgespeth, Kevin Nelson and Jon Shufett; his great grandchildren, MaKaylee Decker, Brody Tucker, Shelbi Pelston, Olivia Pelston and Chase Hedgespeth; his great great grandchild Payslee Decker; and his sisters, Shirline Vanarsdale (Edwin) of Columbia, KY and LaVern Wray of Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
