She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Denson and Hazel Rodgers Tucker Denson; her daughter Retheal Pemberton; and her siblings, Mae Wheat, Barbara Tucker, Alvie Tucker, Gary Dewayne Tucker, Donnie Tucker and Charlie Summers.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Downs; her daughter Elizabeth Ann Higginbotham of Liberty; her siblings, Henry Tucker of Russell Springs, Ruthie Hatter of Liberty, Linda Thompson of Russell Springs and Pauline Robinson of Russell Springs; her grandchildren, Shyann Wheat, Jacklyn Keith and Allie Grace Pendleton; her great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Aubrey, Sophia, Paisley, Presley and Hazel Ann; and her stepsons, Gary Owens of Liberty and Ray Owens of Jamestown.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McKinney-Brown Funeral Home (752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY 42539). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to help the family offset funeral expenses.
