He was predeceased by: his father Hayward Harris; and his siblings, Loretta Patterson, Carlos Harris and Kermit Harris. He is survived by: his mother Mary Halcomb Harris of Columbia; his brother Hayward Harris, Jr. of Columbia; his stepsisters, Betty Rice, Irene Curtis and Mildred Hurley; and his fiancée Martha Judd of Columbia. He is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
