He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Knight and Thelma Bennett Knight; his uncle Oliver Tractor; his wife Mary LaPorte Knight of Columbia Three; his sons, David Knight (Kelly) of Carolina Beach, Daniel Knight (Deborah) of Murfreesboro and Mark Knight (Terri) of Winchester, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Kara Lee (Adam) of Raleigh, NC, Kortney Fuller (Buck) of Savannah, GA, Austin Knight (Paula) of Austin, TX, Daniel Knight (Alyssa) of Waterloo, IA, Mark Knight and Luke Knight of Lexington, KY.; his great grandchild David Kent Lee of Raleigh, NC.; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Schreiner of Ocean View and Peter LaPorte (Joanne) of Plantation; his niece Susan Gardner of Albany; his nephew Thomas Hiney (Elise) of The Netherlands, His; and his pets, Sadie and Trouble.
