She was predeceased by: her parents, James Amos and Lela Thornton Thompson; her daughter Monica Thompson; and her siblings, Edwin Pat Thompson and Margaret Sue Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Thompson of Louisville, John of Columbia, Oba of Columbia, Parita of Columbia and Kanissa'Ai Thompson of Columbia; her siblings, Donnie Thompson of Lebanon, Udell Thompson of Kewanee, James W. Thompson of Corbin, KY and Katie Embry of Aurora, Illinois; and her close friend James Miller. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home to help take care of the funeral expenses.
