He was predeceased by: his parents, Galeon Janes and Sallie Keltner Janes; his great grandchild Bella Dawn Streeval; and his siblings, Herbert, Payne, Norman, Bill, Lewis, Johnnie Janes, Ernestine Kemp, Ruth Burris, Freida Smith, Sue Cundiff and Retter Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Janes of Columbia, KY; his son Barney Janes (Doris) of Columbia, KY; his grandchildren, Sarah Streeval (Keith), Michael Janes, John Janes and Rebecca Godsey (Alan); his great grandchildren, Christian, Wade Janes, Merlin, Christina Godsey, Timothy, Matthew, Zachery, Jackson, Benjamin, Katelyn and Madelyn Streeval; and his sister Phyllis Stone (Jimmie) of Columbia, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
