It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mattie Richards of Columbia, Kentucky, who passed away on May 6, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Russell and Mary Magdalene Cabbell Pierce; her husband Leslie Thomas Richards; and her daughter Mary Linda Darnell. She is survived by: her sons, Louis Marshall Richards of Marrowbone, Donald Aaron Richards (Direnda) of Breeding and Randy Thomas Richards (Lois Ann) of Columbia One; and her siblings, James Russell Pierce and Martha Cundiff of Scottsville. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great grandchildren.
